Discover the city
What does Berlin look like? Which is the soul of the capital? Which cultural opportunities does it offer? Many refugees that came to Berlin have hardly the opportunity to get to know the city as the shelters are often located outside and even in the countryside. That’s why we decided to organize some activities outside the B89, which kindly host us for the workshops and take the train and go to Berlin!
Our first destination was FUTURIUM
At Futurium, in the House of Future, everything revolves around how we want to live. In the exhibition, visitors can discover many possible futures; in the Forum, they can participate in open discussions; and, in the Futurium Lab, they can try out their own ideas.
You can either passively look at many possible scenarios for your life in the future or actively express your opinion on various topics – in German, no matter which language level you have, no matter which German course you are attending.
At the end of the visit, we sat together and exchanged ideas. Is sustainability an issue important for us? and how?
